Here in the Midwest panfish are king when it comes to heading out casting a fly for a few hours in the evening. Almost all the waters here in central Indiana have panfish (Bluegill, Redear, Pumpkinseed, Rock Bass, etc...) in them. Fortunately, these are very aggressive fish and take a fly eagerly. Plus, the patterns for catching panfish are simple and easy to tie.
In this class we will be tying three proven patterns for panfish. These are flies that have been around for years and have brought many panfish to the net. They are all easy to tie and in no time you can have a box full of different color and size flies for any situation. Plus you will have many hours of fun tying them.
