Synopsis of Class
Jigs have been around for many years and are usualy the province of spin fishing.  However, we fly fishers can easily tie lighter jigs for use in fly fishing.  This class will show tiers how to tie a number of flies using different "jog: techniques.  Jig flies can be tied using everyday fly tying materials as well as on standard jig hooks.  All are great for bass, panfish, trout and walleye.

All tying material will be provided. You will need to bring the following tying equipment.
  • A vise
  • A Bobbin
  • Tying Thread (for this class black, and brown 6/0)
  • Head Cement
  • Scissors
  • Half hitch tools and/or Whip Finish Tool
