Synopsis of Class
|
There is still some fishing to be had this fall, don't put
your gear away yet. The water temps have dropped and
right now is ideal fall trout time. Even as the
temperature falls in the next month and stays low in the
winter you can still nymph for trout.
Many times in our Intermediate tying class we tie new and
different flies. This class we will be tying some
tried and true trout nymph patterns. The standard
nymphs that should be in every trout fly box and in
multiple sizes. Other than being on smaller hooks
(usually size 12 through 20) these flies are not difficult
to tie.
The flies we will tie are,
|

Gold Ribbed Hare's Ear |

Pheasant Tail Nymph |

Bead Head Prince Nymph |

Bead Head Zug Bug |
